Events Near Easirent Cork Airport
1. Live at the Marquee
- Live at the Marquee is one of Cork’s biggest summer entertainment events, running from 10 June to 19 July 2026 at the Docklands on Centre Park Road, around 10 km from Cork Airport. The festival features major music, comedy and live entertainment acts including David Gray, Kesha, Tom Grennan, James Arthur and Two Door Cinema Club.
2. Cork on a Fork Fest
- Cork on a Fork Fest returns from 12–16 August 2026 across Cork city centre, celebrating Cork’s reputation as Ireland’s food capital. The festival includes street food markets, chef demonstrations, outdoor dining events, tasting trails, pop-up experiences and live entertainment throughout the city.
3. Cork Midsummer Festival
- Cork Midsummer Festival takes place from 12–21 June 2026 across venues throughout Cork city, bringing together live music, theatre, dance, visual arts and outdoor performances. The festival is known for transforming public spaces around the city with large-scale installations, street performances and evening events.

1. Galway International Arts Festival
- Galway International Arts Festival runs from 13–26 July 2026 across Galway city, around 85 km from Shannon Airport. Events take place daily from late morning into the night, with major concerts held at the Heineken Big Top at Fisheries Field near Salmon Weir Bridge, plus performances and installations throughout Eyre Square, the Latin Quarter and the Spanish Arch area.
2. Willie Clancy Summer School
- Willie Clancy Summer School runs from 4–12 July 2026 in Miltown Malbay, around 55 km from Shannon Airport. The festival fills the town with traditional Irish music sessions, céilís, singing, dancing and instrument workshops from morning until late each night. Most pub sessions are free to attend, while music and dance classes vary in price depending on the course, typically starting from around €25+. (as of time of writing – don’t quote us as ticket prices go up!)
3. Limerick Jazz Festival
- Limerick Jazz Festival fills Limerick’s pubs, bars and riverside venues with live jazz, blues and swing music from afternoon until late night. Expect packed beer gardens, live bands spilling out onto the streets and a busy nightlife atmosphere across the city centre, all just 25 km from Shannon Airport. Many events are free, with ticketed concerts usually starting from around €15.

1. Dublin Horse Show
- Dublin Horse Show runs from 5–9 August 2026 at the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin, around 15 km from Dublin Airport. Alongside world-class showjumping competitions, visitors can explore fashion shows, shopping areas, food halls, live entertainment and family attractions across the venue. Events run from morning into the evening each day, with ticket prices typically starting from around €20, making it one of Dublin’s biggest and busiest summer events.
2. Taste of Dublin
- Taste of Dublin takes place from 11–14 June 2026 in Merrion Square, around 12 km from Dublin Airport. The festival brings together some of Dublin’s best restaurants, street food vendors and chefs for four days of outdoor dining, cocktail bars, live cooking demonstrations and live music in the city centre.
3. Longitude
- Longitude takes place in July 2026 at Marlay Park, around 30 km from Dublin Airport. One of Ireland’s biggest outdoor music festivals, it features major international artists, large open-air stages, food vendors and all-day live performances attracting thousands of music fans each summer.
